Who We Are

MoreDAW is an online community for music producers to ask questions, share tips, submit tracks, earn points, and access rewards. MoreDAW is the controller of the personal information described in this notice unless we say otherwise. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact moredawapp@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

  • Account details such as your username, artist name, email address, profile settings, and authentication identifiers.
  • Community content such as posts, replies, ratings, likes, votes, track submissions, reward activity, and public profile information.
  • Media and files you choose to upload, including audio files, cover images, avatars, and related metadata.
  • Payment and subscription information handled through our payment provider. We do not store full card details on MoreDAW servers.
  • Technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, log data, cookie identifiers, and security events.
  • Email preference data, including unsubscribe requests and delivery or suppression records.

How We Use Information

  • To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and keep the service secure.
  • To publish community features, show profiles, manage posts, calculate points, and operate rewards.
  • To process memberships, payments, checkout returns, refunds, and payment-related support.
  • To send service messages, transactional emails, reward updates, and optional communications where permitted.
  • To prevent spam, abuse, fraud, copyright misuse, and technical misuse of the platform.
  • To improve MoreDAW, debug errors, understand performance, and maintain reliable hosting and storage.

Legal Bases

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on contract when we create and run your account, process paid memberships, and deliver features you ask for. We rely on legitimate interests when moderating the community, preventing abuse, securing the service, and improving reliability. We rely on consent where required for optional marketing or any non-essential cookies introduced in the future. We rely on legal obligation where we must keep records, respond to lawful requests, or meet tax, accounting, consumer, or fraud-prevention duties.

Who We Share Information With

  • Public content, usernames, artist names, profile details, posts, replies, ratings, and leaderboard activity may be visible to other users and visitors.
  • We use service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, media storage, email delivery, and payments. Based on the current service setup, this includes providers such as Supabase, Stripe, and Lovable where relevant to the feature you use.
  • We may share limited information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Account and profile data are kept while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards to deal with security, fraud, abuse, backups, and disputes. Community posts, replies, ratings, and leaderboard records may remain visible unless removed by you or by MoreDAW under the Terms. Payment, invoice, and transaction records may be kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, chargeback, and legal compliance. Suppression lists and unsubscribe records may be kept so we can honor your communication preferences.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. To make a request, contact moredawapp@gmail.com.

International Transfers

MoreDAW and its providers may process information in countries outside your own, including outside the UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, provider transfer mechanisms, and security controls intended to protect personal information during those transfers.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect accounts, uploads, payment flows, and platform data. No internet service is perfectly secure, so you should use a strong password and keep your login details private.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as MoreDAW evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or highlight the update on the service.
